ULMS is A University Library Management System (ILS) used by the KNUST Library to manage and provide access to library services and resources. It supports various library operations from cataloguing and collection management to borrowing, returning, renewing, and tracking library materials.
Through Koha, students, faculty, researchers, and other authorized users can search the library’s Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) to find books and other available resources. Users can also access their library accounts to view borrowed items, due dates, renewals, reservations, and other account information.
For library staff, Koha provides tools for cataloguing, circulation, acquisitions, serials management, patron management, reporting, and administration. It therefore helps the KNUST Library organize its collections and deliver library services more efficiently.
